• Arc Raiders Duplication Exploit: Economy Crisis

Since its launch, Arc Raiders has struggled with repeated item duplication exploits—a critical vulnerability in a game where loot is the currency of survival. While developers have patched specific glitches quickly, new variants emerge just as fast, and the resulting flood of duplicated gear has spread widely across servers, undermining both the in-game economy and PvP fairness.

      The Scope of the Exploit

YouTuber The Gaming Merchant investigated the issue by infiltrating PvP-focused lobbies. The game’s matchmaking tends to group aggressive players together, and there they consistently encountered heavily armed opponents wielding Bobcat weapons, gold-quality mods like the Kinetic Converter, and other high-tier gear. One player, after killing the investigator, dropped a pile of identical Bobcats on the ground and boasted via voice chat that their stash held even more. Such clear evidence of duplication has become routine.

      Real-Money Trading and Regional Hubs

Outside the game, the illicit gear flows into real-money markets. On Facebook and Discord groups, players openly buy and sell weapons and equipment, likely sourced from duplication exploits or third-party tools. The investigation indicates much of this activity is organized on Asian servers, which can be selected in the settings menu. Players reportedly coordinate trades there, then move the duped items to other regions via cross-server transfer, compounding the problem.
